Dear Alumni,

PUAASC just received an invitation from the Peking

University to send a representative to attend the

"Forum on Alumni Work" on October 26-27 at Hefei,

AnHui Province and speak on behalf of the alumni

associations in the US on overseas fundraising

activities. Also the University will award 2-3

Distinguished Alumni ("Jie2 Chu1 Xiao4 You3") and 2-3

Outstanding Alumni Worker ("You1 Xiu4 Xiao4 You3 Gong1

Zuo4 Zhe3") from our Association.

PUAASC invites all members to nominate fellow alumni

for the above two awards. Please send your nomination

to sikun@yahoo.com by Tuesday 9/11 and the Association

Board members will nominate alumni with their

curriculum vitae, stories, recommendation letters, and

photos to the University by mid-September.

You may also nominate yourself to represent the

Association attending the Forum. You pay the airfare

and the University covers the hotel, meals, and

in-city transportations.
