1. Election, Election, Election!

Time: Sunday, December 14, 2003 2 PM - 4 PM

Location: Roxbury Park Auditorium, Beverly Hills

(Cross street: Olympic Blvd. The Park has excellent children's playground and

volleyball, basketball, soccer, and tennis courts. The famous Rodeo Drive is

nearby with beautiful Christmas decorations.)

Open Positions: PUAASC Executive Committee 2004-2005 including President and

four Vice Presidents

Candidates: Jenny Luo Team, Michael Wu Team (Only one team will be elected.

Team introduction messages will follow.). They each will give a team

presentation prior to the vote.

Qualified Voters: People who have studied or worked at Peking University.

Non-alumni family and children do not cast votes but are very welcome to join

the event or play in the park.

Admission: Free, Free parking in the lot or on street, Refreshments served

2. PKU News

The fourth Peking University Alumni Forum was held in Beijing from November

1-2, 2003. Ms. Lijian Wang and Mr. Peter Zhang represented PUAASC and BMUAASC

to attend the meeting. Please see

3. Charitable Performance For Miss Kong Yan

Many of you may have heard Miss Kong Yan's singing in many Chinese community

events. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with mid to late stage lung cancer. She

is currently under treatment in Beijing. Many excellent artists in Southern

California will participate in a charitable performance on 12/6/03 for your

donations.

Time: Saturday, December 6, 2003 6:40 PM

Location: East Los Angeles College Auditorium

Tickets: $5 (student only), $15, $30, $100
