To celebrate the 106th birthday of our Alma Mater and to promote

networking among PUAASC members and friends, PUAASC will hold its 2004 annual

convention on May 22, 2004 at the China Press (Qiao2 Bao4) in Alhambra.

The program will include:

- Keynote speech

- Story telling by alumni

- Games

- Launch of new PUAASC web site

- Report on visits to PKU

- Dinner and gathering by department

- Dance

Call for volunteers:

We need volunteers to help organize the convention. If you are

interested in

- recommending or being a speaker (for keynote speech or story

telling),

- recommending a game or being a game leader,

- sharing photos or video tapes of Beida,

- recommending or being a departmental coordinator,

- recommending or being a photographer for the convention,

- helping with registration or setting up the room, or

- providing any comments or suggestions,
