2005 HandReach grant
posted on Apr 12 2005

HandReach.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Chinese rural schools, is currently accepting the applications for the 2005 grants. The applicant, upon approved, will be issued a $200 check to be used for helping Chinese rural schools.

A qualified applicant should be able to prove that either you, your relatives, or your trusted friends are able to directly contact those schools face to face, and the fund from Handreach can reach a target school in 100 percentage. Once the fund is approved and distributed to you, we also expect feedbacks like photos, letters or expense receipts from you or your connections to show the work that the fund has done to the target school. Ideally, the best applicants are those Chinese students, scholars or professionals currently studying, working or traveling in the US and are originally graduated or connected to poor schools in China.

To apply for a fund, you are required to fill out an application form and send it to the Handreach reviewing committee. The form in PDF format can be downloaded from http://handreach.org/projects/application.pdfAfter you finished the form, please send it to the address shown in http://handreach.org/pages/contact.php

Best regards,
