Job Specification

1. System designers with at least three year's experience in performance analysis, systems simulation, algorithm development, and architecture definition. Applicants must be familiar with various processors, have experience in designing multimedia processing system with embedded multi-cores, aware various major DSP algorithms especially video and audio algorithms, have profound knowledge about various audio and video standards and protocols such as MPEG1/2/4 standards, have complete knowledge in designing and verifying a multi-core system, and have experience of implementing audio and video compression and decompression algorithms. Experience in mixed-signal IC design, digital architecture design, testing vector generation, function integration and verification, RTL level system integration and verification, mega-module integration, and system on chip architecture will be a plus.

2. DSP engineers. Applicants must have at less one year's experience of simulating a system with multi-cores and must have complete knowledge of verifying a system with multiple embedded DSP cores. Experience in developing and implementing DSP algorithms, handling complex design from system concept to commercial product in multimedia processing system, and developing audio/video system. Applicants must have excellent knowledge in DSPs, ASIC, FPGAs, embedded software development, real time algorithm implementation, multimedia protocol and standard especially MPEG2 and MPEG4, and various DSP algorithms. Applicants should be familiar with various tools such as SPW, Matlab, C++, Perl, C-shell, and ARM9 developing tools. Knowledge on IP TV, video telephone, high speed wireless access technology, personal multimedia center, ARM9 and other major DSP cores, various signal interface standards, communication systems and networks will be a plus.
