The following are some details about coming to the Saturday gathering:

Time: Saturday, Jan. 12, 2 PM

Location: UCLA Franz Hall, Room 1260 (first floor)

Admission: Please donate $5 for food, drink, room and equipment cost. Family

members are welcome (free).

Driving Direction:

To UCLA -

UCLA is close to the Freeway 405 exits (from south to north) Wilshire, Montana,

and Sunset.

If you come from North, take 405 S. and exit at Sunset Blvd. Drive east towards

UCLA. Follow the curved road all the way towards the east boundary of the

campus and turn right on Hilgard Ave. The campus is on your right side. Enter

the campus by turning right at Westholme Ave. (has traffic lights).

If you come from South, take 405 N. and exit at Wilshire Blvd. Drive east

towards UCLA. Turn left at Westwood Blvd. Turn right at Le Conte Ave. Turn left

at Hilgard Ave. The campus is on your left side. Enter the campus by turning

left at Westholme Ave. (has traffic lights).

To Franz Hall -

Entering the campus from Westholme Ave., you will see an information booth. Buy

a parking ticket ($6) there for Lot 2 if you park on campus. There may be free

parking available on Hilgard Ave. Franz Hall is not far from the information

booth or the parking lot. Please see the following map:

The famous "Inverted Fountain" is just in front of the building.

A senior PKU alumni/UCLA Chinese Scholar gathering is organized by Ms. LU Ying

just before the event. If you like to join, please show up at 1:30 PM on the

grass in front of the Royce Hall.
