Dear alumni:

Our election of 2006-2007 Executive Committee was conducted on March 18, 2006. Three candidate teams led by Ximeng Wang, Hongyu Zhang, and Humin Ni, respectively, presented their visions and plans for bringing PUAASC to a greater success. The candidates also answered questions from the audience and the competing candidates.

Based on the votes by the alumni present at the meeting, Hongyu Zhang was elected the new President of PUAASC. Ximeng Wang, Bo Qiao, Di Huang, and Angela Wang will serve as the new Vice Presidents. The result was confirmed and approved by the Board Of Directors.

Congratulations to Hongyu and his team!

According to our bylaws, the Board of Directors elected six members with a four-year term: Jason Cong, Richard Lee, Katie Qingqing Pan, Lijean Wang, Hongyu Zhang, and Wensheng Zhou. Peter Zhang was elected a Board Director with a two-year term. Board Directors Sikun Lan, Hongmei Li, Yanan Luo, Bryan Xu, and Jianzhong Zhang will continue their service for another two years. Richard Lee was elected the new Chairman of the Board, and Sikun Lan the new Vice Chairman of the Board.

We thank all alumni for their enthusiastic support to our association, the 2004-2005 Executive Committee members for their excellent service in the past two years, and all Board members for their exceptional guidance! And we look forward to the continued success of PUAASC under the new leadership!
