Physical Optics Corporation (www.poc.com) is looking for a Research Scientist who has working experience, knowledge and hands-on skills in R&D software solutions and information technologies including database development tools, anti-malware, intelligent agents, C++, and C#. Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or equivalent, U.S. citizenship or green card is required. The requirements and preferences are as following:

* Preferred Knowledge in advanced artificial intelligence, distributed intelligence, intelligent systems, Web 2.0, cognition, human brain study

* Preferred skills in source code of MySQL, anti-virus, software agents, neural networks, pattern recognition, data mining, BI, KD, etc.

* Preferred Experience in developing commercial software products, components, architectures, networked and wireless applications

* Hands-on Skills/Experience in software development life-cycle (Internet, Wireless, Database, Desktop), SOA, OOT, N-Tier

* Languages/Frameworks: C#, C++, .NET Framework, Java, J2EE, etc.

Salary is ranged from $80K/Y to $100K/Y, plus benefit package. We are located in Torrance, CA.
