Dear alumni and friends,

The 2008 Election Committee is pleased to announce that the Feb 9th election has successfully elected leaders of the new PUAASC Executive Committee (EC). Katie Pan was voted unanimously as the new PUAASC president, Bailing Zhang, Tony Sun, Fred Ouyang and Chunlei Xia were voted as the new Vice Presidents. The result was confirmed and approved by the Board Of Directors (BOD). We congratulate Katie and her team! They will be the new leaders of PUAASC executive committee in the coming two years.

According to our bylaws, the Board of Directors elected Anna Hsu, Sean Liu, Bailing Zhang as board members serving four-year terms, and Yong Kang as a board member serving a two-year term. The board unanimously approved that Richard Lee will serve as Chairman of the Board and Hongyu Zhang as the Vice Chairman of the Board.

We thank all alumni for their enthusiastic support to our association, the 2006-2007 Executive Committee members and leaving members of the Board for their excellent service. And we look forward to the continued success of PUAASC under the new leadership!
