Dear alumni,

We've learned that The PKU Education Foundation will offer Alumni IDs (Xiao4

You3 Ka3) for free for all the alumni attending the 4/14 banquet at Pasadena

Hilton. The front side of the ID has the name of the alumnus/alumna, the

department in PKU where he/she studied, the year when he/she entered PKU,

his/her picture, and the words "ALUMNI -- Peking University". The backside of

the ID has a beautiful picture of the Unknown Lake and the PKU logo.

The Alumni ID, in addition to being a wonderful souvenir, is recognized at the

gates of PKU and PKU library, so that alumni can enjoy the same services that

are offered to current students and faculties.

The PKU Education Foundation will collect one passport-size color picture and an

information sheet from each alumnus/alumna at the dinner banquet for the making

of the ID. The ID will be then made back home in the university and mailed to

each of you later.
