Dear Alumni,

Please join us at 3:30pm on 8/29 (Sun) at Pacific Asia Museum to

celebrate a special exhibition, China Modern: Designing Popular

Culture 1910-1970, which explores the graphic arts of 20th century

China from early cosmopolitan Shanghai to the Cultural Revolution.

PUAASC was invited by Pacific Asia Museum to co-present a community

partner family day along with other community organizations. PUAASC

members and families will be offered two-for-one admission for the

exhibition. (Regular museum admission is $9 for adults, $7 for seniors

and students, and free for children under 12). cheduled program

between 4-6 pm includes docent-led tour of China Modern and the museum

collection, plus a raffle of museum membership and admission tickets.

String and Bamboo Music will present a musical performance, and the

popular Coolhaus ice-cream sandwich truck will also be at the event

from 4-6 pm.
