Belle Yang - Exhibition & Book Signing

This Sunday, September 12 at 2 p.m.Authors on Asia

Belle Yang will discuss and sign several of her children's books and

her new graphic memoir, Forget Sorrow: An Ancestral Tale. In her

presentation, she will include additional images of her artwork not

Forget Sorrow - An Exhibition by Celebrated Author and Illustrator Belle Yang

September 9 – October 31, 2010The exhibition presents illustrated

works by Belle Yang, the subject of the CINE Golden Eagle

award-winning PBS documentary, My Name is Belle. The selected works

range from color illustrations from her children’s book Always Come

Home to Me, a 2008 Best Children's Book awarded by Chinese American

Librarians Association, to black and white illustrations from her most

recent publication, Forget Sorrow: An Ancestral Tale, a graphic

memoir.
