1. Observance of Raising Flag for Chinese National Day

To celebrate the Chinese National Day on Oct. 1, the Los Angeles overseas

Chinese organizations will together host an observance of raising China national

flag at the Barns Park of the City of Monterey Park.

Time: 9:00am-12:00pm on September 29, 2002

The free event is open to the public. You and your family member are welcome to

join in it.

2. Dinner Party for Chinese National Day

-----------------------------------------------------------

There is another dinner party together hosted by the major Los Angeles overseas

Chinese organizations to celebrate the China national day. This is an important

opportunity for us to meet old friends and get to know new friends.

Time: 7:00pm, on September 30, 2002

Location: Empress Pavilion Restaurant

Address: 988 N. Hill Street, #201, Los Angeles, CA 90012

Cost: $20/person
